Infertility

I became very excited to have my first introduction to the use of Chinese medicine to treat infertility in 1986. Having had four children myself, it became a passion of mine to be able to assist others. I regularly attend international symposiums to stay abreast of the latest research and treatment protocols, utilizing Chinese medicine to treat both men and women. I have been fortunate enough to have female patients as old as 43, who’ve been told they will never be able to get pregnant, to younger patients with PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) and multiple cysts, be able to get pregnant. Morphogenic Field Technique (MFT) evaluations, hormonal evaluations, past health history, cosmetic products, dietary choices all play factors in determining exactly what your body may need in order to get you ready for a healthy pregnancy. It may also be necessary to do a mild detox program before you attempt to even get pregnant. This may be needed for two reasons - 1) You want to eliminate as many toxins as possible so they aren’t passed onto the new infant. 2) Sometimes the systems of elimination ie. kidneys, lymphatic systems and various glands (thyroid, pituitary, and adrenals, etc.) are not functioning optimally which will impair your ability to get pregnant. Fortunately the body is quite resilient, and given the right direction should respond in the desired manner.
